WW was my least favorite zelda ever so not hugely motivating for me. the HD makeover looks nice though.
Hmm, if they don't change the core game too much (Let me effing sail, I want to sail!) this might just be what I needed to get the WiiU this year.

I don't think they'll make 2D to 3D remakes (3D's been around since forever and it never happened), but I do expect them to remaster a lot of their 3D games (Super Mario 64 and others).
They did it from the NES to the SNES, and the talent, tech and graphical jump is there now for them to do it with almost all their major franchises in 3D.
the Wind Waker HD screens look gorgeous - I hope we will see several similarly stylized games next gen
I got the part about new Zelda being non-linear, but wtf is "rethink Zelda conventions"? Some drastic changes? Back to the roots? All of the above?

Yeah, I didn't really get the "going back to the roots" part either... But I like the way it might end up non-linear; that you can do what ever donguen you want as long as you got the right equipment
