Hmm..makes sense, I wonder why they chose this particular title. They may be trying to appeal to the audience that played Brawl. Like how the 1st main FE game released after melee was the best selling one, they may be trying to repeat that success, maybe draw some more fans into the series.

In that regard they're doing a pretty good job.

I think it's partly a matter of timing (not much else releasing around it for... well, any Nintendo console; 3DS sales in the West slacking a bit) and partly a reflection of Nintendo's confidence in the game. They really seem to have put some tremendous production value into it. It's the right game at the right time.

I kind of wish I got a 3ds instead of wiiu for this game right now. I've been in love with the series since Radiant Dawn, and a fan of the genre since I first played shining force so very long ago. Fire Emblem Wiiu better be announced soon.

Because Fire Emblem will be the best RPG game of 2013. Can't wait!!!

lol last time gamestop stopped taking preorders on a Nintendo product we saw what the WiiU did.

However in that scenario GameStop said they had 500,000 preorders on WiiU, yet they sold like half that? someone needed to learn maths haha.

Guessing with this game, probably not enough copies or delayed to a time with no ETA.

Hmm... hopefully Nintendo will ship more.

I did not pre order, I will probably just stop by Best Buy early in the morning and pick up a copy. Day 1, I've never ran into a problem with software, hardware is a different beast altogether.

Why Gamestop is important is that only they have the special artbook. If you don't care for it that's fine though.

It's not that uncommon. I remember they close the Halo: Reach limited edition consoles pre order about a month before the game/console launch.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Tell me a funny joke!
