Haha, this was my first reaction too.

It's a big achievement any way you slice it, though. Twenty million units sold is nothing to sneeze at. I'm eager to see Kinect 2.0 (if it even exists) because the technology has the potential to be revolutionary.

It is certainly impressive for an attachment, but the comparison is a curious one.

I tend to agree. It can't stay a punch-line forever. I think in time it will be remembered as one of the better systems of the past two generations.

I was in my twenties and the Gamecube was the first console I bought last gen followed by a Xbox then PS2. IT was a vastly underrated system and I got far more enjoyment from it than my PS2 (not a fan of some of the last gen popular genres such as stealth, jrpg, sandbox (GTA)). I think my gaming tastes were in the minority last gen.
