Forums - Gaming - Kinect outsells GameCube in North America in half the time!

5 million of those Kinects are sitting on shelves gathering dust at second-hand game shops.  At least 5 million of them.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

GameCube had a rather limited audience, selling exclusively to children and all.

I was in my twenties and the Gamecube was the first console I bought last gen followed by a Xbox then PS2.  IT was a vastly underrated system and I got far more enjoyment from it than my PS2 (not a fan of some of the last gen popular genres such as stealth, jrpg, sandbox (GTA)).  I think my gaming tastes were in the minority last gen.

Bahahaha.  I'm not even gonna take the bait, dude.  Not gonna go there.  All you need to know is that you're indeed very wrong about that.

It also sold more than the 2012 Ford Escape (since we're making pointless comparisons) :P

By the end of the year Kinect will have outsold Gamecube lifetime in 1 years less time. Xbox Lifetime sales is a maybe.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Nope but you're entitled to you own opinion

My love affair with Kinect is coming to an end. I still use it to control Netflix and a couple of games over the weekend but I never did really live up to its promise. Also, I'm lazy. Glad it blew away all expectations, though. Hope Kinect 2.0 delivers a bit more.

That's it, Gamecube is doomed now.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Nintendo should have stopped producing consoles after the game cube, it's clear one gen should dictate the overall business aspect of a company

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
