I was in my twenties and the Gamecube was the first console I bought last gen followed by a Xbox then PS2. IT was a vastly underrated system and I got far more enjoyment from it than my PS2 (not a fan of some of the last gen popular genres such as stealth, jrpg, sandbox (GTA)). I think my gaming tastes were in the minority last gen.
