Its not the case SCE published and sold 113.04 million games on the PS3.  Microsoft published and sold 149.04 million games on the 360.

No link needed source is vgchartz.  Also the majority of all games published by Microsoft this generation where new ip's only Halo, Forza, and Fable had games on the original X-box.  And some games in those ip's are new ip's Forza Horizion and Halo Wars and the very unsuccessful Fable: The Journey.   If you include 3rd party games the gap is even bigger 743 million versus 646 million.  The 360 also sells more software online Minecraft sold over 5 million copies in just a couple of month.

All the games you counted are spin-offs they are not new ip's the only new ip from Microsoft that i can remember is Alan Wake,Crackdown and Viva Pinata. I'm not going to do any research cuz i'm too damn lazy.

According to VGC - all based on 1000 games

Published by Nintendo: 1,609.77m units sold
Published by SCE: 556.62m units sold
Published by Microsoft Game Studios: 212.30m units sold

How many times do i have to say this. I'm talking about this gen new ip's do you understand now.

As a matter of fact more of Sony's old ip's from the PS2 made it to the PS3 compared to old x-box ip's that made it to the 360.  God of War, Rachet and Clank, Gran Turismo, Sing Star, Buzz!, Sly Cooper, Twisted Metal, Kill Zone, MLB, NBA and SOCOM all had games on the PS2.
