Its not the case SCE published and sold 113.04 million games on the PS3. Microsoft published and sold 149.04 million games on the 360.

No link needed source is vgchartz. Also the majority of all games published by Microsoft this generation where new ip's only Halo, Forza, and Fable had games on the original X-box. And some games in those ip's are new ip's Forza Horizion and Halo Wars and the very unsuccessful Fable: The Journey. If you include 3rd party games the gap is even bigger 743 million versus 646 million. The 360 also sells more software online Minecraft sold over 5 million copies in just a couple of month.
