batman the best film of all time? i dont know whether to laugh at you, pity you or curse at you

Looks like you haven't even seen TDKR...it has an 8.7 on IMDB despite having over 500k votes in such a short time (record for any movie). It's an excellent film and within 10 or maybe 20 years it will go down as a classic.

i have watched the movie and its pure crap. americans (yes americans) love batman and would rate the anything batman related high, case in point the latest batman games. i can name 50 movies miles ahead of batman movies easily.

IMDB is WW not just American...and for 2012 TDKR owned every movie according to metacriritc

I am surprised Lord of the Rings is so far ahead of TDKR. I would have thought that people would have forgotten a little about those movies by now. Many on this site were young when they were released. TDKR is fresher in the mind.

The thing about old movies is that we alway remember the good parts of the film not every single detail. That's why 10 years down the line we usually apreciate films more than we did when it first released. That's why I watched all these films before conduction the poll once more. Don't get me wrong LOTR and Toy Story 3  are fantastic films but I 10 years later we'll probably appreciate TDK and TDKR much more than we do now.

And guys please remember this is a poll for the best CONCLUSION to a trilogy not the best trilogy

I voted back to the future. None of you are old enough to remember those movies when they first came out. My favorite movies of all time.

Christopher Nolan is a genius. TDKR>

He is rumored to be working on an original science fiction movie. Possibly time travel.

1. Toy Story 3 (Not gonna lie. I got a little teary-eyed)

2. The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

And that's it I think. Honorable mention to TDKR, but in my opinion, the last 40 minutes was a mess.

The last 40 min of the film was what most people considered phenomenal.

Then most people consider a shit sandwich, delicious. Or they really think it's plausible for an entire city's police force would go underground and get trapped. No one's gonna stay in the precincts to answer phones? Not one officer? No one's gonna watch the entrance to the underground area, like say to block it off to keep it secure?

Instead of executing her plan, Talia decides to try and get close enough to Batman to stab him in the gut with a knife. Why not avoid the risk of being defeated and detonate the bomb. It had already been like 5 months at that point, A few more minutes would not have really mattered.

*Edited my grammar. I hadn't slept since Friday morning when I wrote this.*
