The site that previously leaked the information that Monster Hunter Ultimate was coming to the Nintendo 3DS now says that the Monster Hunter franchise is a handheld exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS for a maximum of three years. If true, then it means that Monster Hunter 4 could come to the PlayStation Vita sometime in 2014. Rumours surfaced yesterday which claimed that Monster Hunter 4 was delayed as Capcom want a simultaneous release on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

If this is true, then I can't see MH coming to the Vita till early/mid 2015, considering that MH3G released during December of 2011

I deem bs on this. Its been on ios and wii u. I think more likely monster hunter 4 is in a contract. But if it is exclusive for 3 years, 3 years from when? From when monster hunter 4 drops? From the day they wrote the contract?

Most likely it will get on vita in 2014 because third party exclusives tend to last 1 year.

So... Monster Hunter 5 could be an Vita exclusive.. great news!
