Which still didn't answer my question, Monster Hunter 3 Portable is handheld and released on Vita AFTER Monster Hunter 4 was announced.  I don't doubt Monster Hunter "exclusivity", but there's probably a lot of mistranslations going on when this person released this rumour.  Maybe it was exclusive just for Monster Hunter 4 which would make sense since Monster Hunter 4 technically isn't the portable series.

Wait, a MH for the Vita? Didn't knew that, it's not on VGC database. 

Yeah, it's a port of Monster Hunter Portable 3 HD.

Those Chinese sources are fishy at best. At this Svensson guy seems out of the loop, his denial is so unnatural. I do think Vita has some chances, but not for an simultaneous release. It will probably be in 2014.

The contract may have just been for new entries in the series, and MH3Ult. and MH3PHD are ports, and since it says "Monster Hunter Series" instead of just MH4, there may be another MH in the works after 4, or MH4 will be on the Vita/Wii U after the contract is up. I would guess Nintendo moneyhatted the game to keep it off of the Vita, because knowing Capcom, it'll be on the Vita if the 3DS game doesn't sell.

Nah. For me it's Vita or forget about it. The only 3DS game I'm interested in is RE:R, but it's gonna be released on PS3 soon, maybe even on Vita as well, so if they stick to 3DS, they can forget about my money. I can't see any reason to get a 3DS right now.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
