too little too late. MH announced only for 3DS pretty much killed the vita already.

I doubt they would bother bringing it to Vita, and if they did it won't move a lot of units since it will already be on 3DS. It was big on PSP because it WASN'T on DS. Not unlike the WiiU, Vita needs good exclusive content. Having the same content is nice, but not great when you are more expensive.

You mean the same Kotaku that reported that Versus XIII was cancelled right? Yeah, okay.
| Flanneryaug said: I don't think this rumor is accurate. It doesn't make financial sense to release it on the Vita right now, when it only has sold around one million units, compared to the 3DS's 10 million. If they do port it to it, it will probably just be a straight 3DS port with barely any graphical improvements. I don't think this will help the Vita much though, since its not an exclusive, so most people will get the 3DS version. |
Think, you really believe its not logical when you know that many gamer will buy a Vita for the game ? And just with the one million, i can say without a doubt that the game could easily sells more than 500k.
ITs enough to bring Capcom
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

So the logic that many Nintendo fans were using for the Wii back in the hey day about games like COD being ported and Activition not leaving money on the table does not apply for Sony consoles? Why should the number of units matter if its pure profit for capcom because the 3DS version will sell well?

By that logic, square enix shouldn't release final fantasy on the xbox, because it doesn't sell well

Why not? MH made a world of difference for the PSP.
Sure, it won't be exclusive, but it will encourage other devs to put their big franchises on Vita when it inevitably sells well.
i call bullcrap. Nintendo will rape CAPCOM with their money if that's true.
