i didn't expect sales to drop so hard.

I wonder if this is a trend we'll be seeing for a while. The 3DS and Vita had bad starts as well, but they're handhelds so not unexpected that they'd pick up in Japan (well, one anyway). The WiiU has been slow out of the blocks, but I'd imagine a similar scenario will be seen with the PS4. 720 won't make a dent in Japan anyway.

We shall see.

They just failed the launch, but once the games are out (which will take some time) it will go up again. Nintendomination is over BUT it will do good.

The sales are good for PS3 in Japan and with the big releases this year it can match or even surpass last years sales.

My prediction for the year: 1.4 million
