these WiiU and vita numbers are both worrying and exciting. and i say exciting because now we know both Sony and nintendo will do something to make them better, announcements are going to come soon and i hope they both bring there A game

Black Ops 2 basically came out like 1 week later than PS3/360....why wasn't it able to sell well? It was the best selling game on PS3 and 360 last year. What went wrong with the Wii U version?

Cuz its on a brand new console. Thats why, Will you pay $59.99 for a copy on PS3 and X360 or will you pay over $420? Thats the reason, Wii U needs more games and it just came out, its the same wit Vita.

You all know Mario Kart U will save the day.

"Gaming" sites bashed it for being a lazy port, and considering how frontloaded the COD series is, 1 week is pretty large of a difference. Also, I don't think people are going to buy a WiiU just for COD if they already own a PS3 or 360.

ok before we get front page numbers i was curious if these numbers are really that unrealistic, i am sure there will be some adjustments like always (japan had some bigger once the last weeks) but how was it last year?

if i compare this weeks to last weeks numbers and do the same with last years numbers (last year in brackets):

DS -40% (last year -37%)

PSP -68% (-63%)

Xbox 360 -41% (-33%)

PS3 -53% (-47%)

Wii -47% (-52%)

3DS -54% (-49%)

PSV -62% (-57%)

Wii U -57% (not out)

numbers are almost all more down this time but it was almost as bad last year. only 360 and wii stand really out, 360 because it has a much bigger weekly drop compared to last years numbers and wii because it had a smaller percentual drop as last year similiar week.

maybe i rounded wrong because i shortened the numbers to have less to type and with that i could be wrong 1% for a number or two.

i am really excited to see front page update, maybe there will be a huge difference or maybe it will be exactly like the tool numbers before first adjustments we will get almost certain.

Actually, many "gaming" sites, including Destructoid, praised COD Wii U, calling it the best version of the game.

But it's no surprise it didn't sell well, coming out on a new console against two healthy consoles that got it earlier.

Others criticized the version too. Eurogamer, IGN, Kotaku.

I don't see any criticism on IGN that indicates it was a "lazy port." They said it was hard to find a match, but that's no fault of the developers. They pretty much called it on-par with the other versions.

They praised the local multiplayer if I remeber right, but noted some issues in the frame rates and something esle I don't remember. They overpraise COD anyways.
