Cool sequence, has a F.E.A.R. type vibe to it. Do they actually go to a different floor or a quick reset of the scene while they're talking in the elevator.
This is still the best scene for me, amazing rig they build for it:

This is the full shot as it appears in the movie

5. 12 monkeys, 1995, Terry Gilliam
My favorite Terry Gilliam movie and best performences of Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt imo. I love how the movie plays with you, what's real, what's not, maybe it could all be in his head. A great take on time travel, great story that leaves plenty to be discovered on repeat viewings and a great ending. The attention to detail in the sets deserves mention too, as well as the great camera work. My only minor gripe is that it didn't get the best treatment on blu-ray (edge enhancement ugh), but still looks better then the dvd and laserdisc version. (Yikes I have 4 versions of this one, hd-dvd as well)

im not sure but I think it was the first scene of its kind thats why I posted it
and there is also this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=oTe2HN4ydQY#t=1563s
directed by jackie chan one scene shown from multiple camera angles after this most action films borrowed the idea
thats why im sure that chinese cinema revolutionized the industry as you can see there are also a lot of remakes
there is also akira kurosawa one of the best directors ever he directed "yojimbo" and a few years later it was remade under the name "a fistful of dollars" by sergio leone :D

That video is blocked in Canada, what multi camera angle technique are you referring too?
4. 2001: A space odyssey, 1968, Stanley Kubrick
I fully agree with what Veknoid said, except it's my 2nd favorite sci-fi atm. The visuals are amazing even by todays standards. This is still the most realistic portrayal of space flight today. They did an awesome job in building the sets. The curving on the orbital space station looks great although you can see the actors struggle a bit trying to pretend to walk normal at the ends. The picture above from the inside of the space ship is actually a giant set that can rotate all the way around. The attention to detail is amazing, they already had working tablets in 1968, although they are stuck to the table :)
I prefer his Rendezvous with Rama series, but this is still a very good interpretation of Arthur C. Clarke's space odyssey. 2010 follows the book quite well too but misses a lot of the magic of Kubrick's work. 2061 and 3001 are still up for grabs.
Meanwhile Morgan Freeman is still trying to get Rendezvous with Rama into production, hopefully he can find a good script writer.
2001 is an amazing achievement in cinema. The only downside is, it's 2013 now and we're still stuck with a makeshift space station in low earth orbit.

Oops, I totally missed my turn yesterday.
OK, here's two-for-one.
#5
Seven Samurai

Akira Kurosawa is a genius filmmaker. His mastery of composition and his ability to manuever hundreds -- even thousands -- of men on set is extraordinary. Seven Samurai is no exception. It's a long movie, over three hours and twenty minutes, but it moves with perfect pacing. The action scenes are loud, ferocious, and expertly choreographed, and the smaller, quieter scenes are moving in their own way. This is a movie as much about honor, brotherhood, duty, and belonging as it is about samurai and bandits.
#4
L'Atalante

Two newlyweds begin their life together on a barge travelling down the Seine. It's a simple enough idea, but director Jean Vigo infused it with poetry. In L'Atalante, Vigo experiments with visual styles, narrative logic, and editing, something that anticipated the "new wave" that would appear in France in the 1950s and 1960s. As a result, the movie is equal parts honest realism and dreamy surrealism.

"This video contains content from MC MRMX, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."
Nope, how come it is available in the UK? Unfortunately I'm used to it, I always get blocked on American sites although we get all the shows on tv here anyway. I tried to find it too, but I can only get a 10 minute part 1 video with a link to a unverified site that asks you to install a plug-in, no thanks.
