With Gen 6 on its way in Oct for a world wide release, What is your Favorite Pokemon Generation overall?

Generation 3 was and is the best generation out there.

My favorite gens in order!!!

I love the original but the others are close to equal IMO

Generation 1 is the best. Though Togepi is my favorite.

Gen 2 all the way. Took what made Gen 1 so amazing and multiplied it by ten. Plus... Nostalgiaaaa!!!

I'm happy Gen 3 is winning. Proves that all of you are wrong!

Ummm....gen 1 is winning

Don't know why but i like gen 3 the most maybe it's because Pokemon emerald is the game I played the most in my childhood, and Swellow is the best Normal/Flying of all gens!!!

For me it goes

1. Gen 4

2. Gen 2

3. Gen 1

4. Gen 3

5. Gen 5

I only one I don't like is gen 5.

Generation 2 included:


- Special Attack/Defense as separated stats

- A bag with different pockets

- Pokémon being able to hold items

- Dark and Steel types

- Everything that made generation 1 awesome!!!


And so, they are hereby given my vote.
