It's been a little over 2 years. It was released in November of 2010. So, it's really 2 years, 1 month and a 9/10 days.

Now this is proper comparison. Don't know why people feel so inferiority to compare a FPS with a racer.

I am starting to expect a tread to talk about Mario Kart Wii vs. GT5 or Forza.

Can we stop this kind of stupid tread? Not only this one, but also the comparison between Halo 4 & GT5.

All of them are classic games. Why do we compare their sales?

Itsa bit premature isnt it? I think 1M sales for a single holiday period following launch is reasonable.

This site is called vgchartz, I initailly came to this website because people did compare sales.. endless arguing and bickering orver opinions is boring; Raw sales, stats, and trends are quantifiable and can make an argument work with evidence to back up a point. And also when more people did compare sales, you got to see what people took away from the game, what they thought was good enough to fight about. 

OT: I'm surprised by the sales, game looked good, and i saw plenty of advertising for it. Maybe people have had their fill of racing sims until next gen?

Comparing GT5 a driving simulator with Forza horizon an Arcade racer is about as close a category of game, I'm sure you wont complain when someone puts up a MarioKartWii Vs Gran Turismo 5 comparison?

You don't have to compare those FPSs against Halo. I know Halo is superior. But I did not make those silly threads about Halo vs GT one week vs one year sale. The thing is compare things with their own league. People get happy when they see Halo vs GT thread, but when someone makes GT vs Forza thread, they start silly arguments.

I don't mind at all. Someone is happy with Halo's few week sales against GT's first year, we should show him Halo vs CoD numbers. So, will he choke to admit that CoD sells better than Halo?
