Yeah I agree, This gen has been more about shooters rather than racers aswell.

Just because there are a bunch of crappy FPS games doesn't make it any easier or harder for Halo or CoD to sell. You make a good FPS, it is destined to sell. You make a good racing game it may or may not sell well but probably not. GT5 will sell 10 million in a difficult genre because it is the sales king of its genre, just like CoD is in FPS.
Quality > Quantity anyday, anyone who otherwise is just a follower.
FYI, Halo 4 selling almost 2 million more then Halo 3 in same timeframe. This game will have a slower timeframe for legs, but the stride of said legs will make up for it hopefully.
Also, MS....please do a spring Halo 4/Forizon bundle this year. That would basically kill 2 birds with one stone.

Im sorry but it lost its touch this generation. And please tell your last line to people like Ethomaz, who believe sales > quality.

Given that this has been bumped, I'll give you all an update:
Halo 4 has now sold more in 8 weeks than GT5 sold in its first 70 weeks.
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
Well it certainly put laps around the competitions rival racing franchise.
But it's still a big FPS versus a sim racer.
