The Xbox fanbase is big enough and doesn't need to grow. There are some MS-lovers who derail every thread/downplay every good Sony news/relay every bad Sony news/cause flamebait/...

A bunch a them are more a pain in the *** than all of Ninty fanbase or Sony fanbase.
Not giving names, but we all know who I'm talking about.

I troll the Xbox 360 all the time and get banned for it. So that's not really the case.

The fanbase won't grow this late on into the current generation of consoles. Gaming based forums are always their most active 2 - 3 years into the lifespan as their have been enough price drops to make the consoles readily available, as well as many different games on the market, new franchises and future relases to look forward to. 
Currently this generation is coming to a close, therefore a lot of the conversations that usually take place and draw in members are just no longer relevant. We know what has been released. All the consoles are cheap. We know what franchises have worked and which have not. 

I haven't looked but I don't imagine the user base for either MS, Sony or Nintendo are currently growing and until we see proper next-gen consoles that clearly overpower the current ones, I don't imagine any fanbase here will grow. 

No other fan base wanted you, so the mods put you in the 360 camp, proof once again of our victimization brother.

I can name 2 Microsoft users that possibly fit that description.  I can name 10+ Sony fans and 5 Nintendo fans.  That of course is anecdotal and based on the threads I choose to view and my interpretation.  Perhaps you should try looking at peoples posts with a more open mind.  If I think someone is trolling now, I first try to think from their perspective.  Posting negative news is not trolling if its legitimate news, its rather sad that a group of people on here want to censor what news is reported or discussed because it doesn't fit their agenda.

LOL, I remember tuscaniman, trolling wasn't enough for him, he attacked and insulted anyone writing even the most slightly negative thing or even the mildest joke about MS products, he was warned and banned countless times for it, and as he kept on insulting the ban length grew, until he dodged a ban using an alt, as he really couldn't stand stopping insulting the "enemies", and was permabanned.    But that bloke was really either a total parenting and education failure or a borderline personality. Not Tourette, as his foul language was rationally aimed at specific targets, not casual or stress-induced.
