Exactly. I got flame on this site more times then any other site I'm on. I don't know why it bother the Sony fans so much that other people like M$ or Nintendo, I never get that at all.

Yeah, I've been playing Video Games for 25+ years and spending thousands of dollars on all gaming systems to use as a cover up in a war between fanboys. Good one. lol

it was a clear and obvious joke with no intention of starting anything, anyone who would have replied to me and thought i was serious i would have explained that it was a joke right away as well. and what is my history? i got banned once for saying my opinion but admittedly i said it in a too harsh manner, but that was it. is my history that im sarcastic and joke in my posts? i've seen much worse posts and threads that my post in the past couple of weeks than anything i've posted. and since when was it that when a user jokes he gets banned or not depending on how funny his joke was? 

your the mod here of course and you deal with this stuff not me, so your judgment is better of course. though im just saying it was a clear joke and if you would have asked me to edit it i would have right away

and to post something on topic im guessing that the fan base is lower on the site because sony and nintendo were in the indusrty longer than MS so there fans are probably bigger in age and are more likely to post in forums because of their bigger age

I'm a massive fan of the Xbox, just because people don't explode in the blind rage when some game for it flops doesn't mean they are less of a fan just means they probably also didn't buy that floppy game along with the rest of it's users :D I think the OP is asking will there be more outright rage machine Xbox fans like Sales2099 and I hope that doesn't happen, not that I don't absolutely love his posts but if they were common place they would be less unique and amazing!

360 gamers just play. The numbers say it for themselves like Halo 4, Minecraft, and COD for a few prime examples. PS3 game sales in 2012 were very low, hell they all are more or less on par with JUST Halo 4.

It all boils down to the bronze medal. 360 gamers just game. PS3 gamers need that reassurance that their tastes and console are amazing. So they flood the forums to create a false sense of majority opinion.

This isnt vgchartz Spain, Japan, or whatever country PS3 is dominant in. This site is for North American and UK gamers mostly. For 360 gamers to be a minority just tells me that they really see no reason to validate themselves...because they allready won.

Look at the recent vote on most anticipated games.  Ps3 games got like 4x as many votes as any 360 game.  There is actual graphs that show how small the 360 community is here.  There are a few 360 posters who post a lot making it look like theres a decent amount but there are probably only 10 actually active on a regular basis users here whose preferred console is the 360

That's a possible explaination, but then again another one is just that 360 fans as a group have a lower literacy rate.  That would also account for their lacking numbers on these forums.  

edit: makes me sad that I have to explicitly state this, but the point of the above post is that you can come up with all kinds of stupid and untestable theories based off the data "less 360 fans on gamrConnect", and my obviously untrue theory actually has the same "proof" to it that Sales' does.  

Since 360 and PS3 have near identical libraries and demographics, I doubt that. Hope that was a joke response. Frankly I dont think 360 gamers are the forum type.

Well considering how lackluster ps3 exclusives seem to do, I think most fanboys spend their days arguing rather than actually supporting their respected console with purchases.
