go get uncharted 2. anyone who likes great games has played U2 this gen. dont know about now but at the time, back in 2009 it was mind blowing.
i will recommend games to you but trust me, it's best not to buy alot of games at once, because the more games you have, the more overwhelmed you will feel and the less you will play one game to get to the next. Here are the best games you need to get.

mgs4, heavenly sword, god of war 3, infamous 1 and 2, resistance 1 2 3 , , demon souls, uncharted 1 2 , heavy rain, twisted metal, valkyria chronicles, gran tursimo 5 , team ico hd collection, killzone 2 and 3, flow, flower, journey, little big planet 1 and 2, siren ( horror game). the first 2 ratchet games on ps3.

GoW 3, littlebigplanet 1/2, uncharted 1/2., journey, gran turismo, starhawk is good you should try it and playstation all stars is pretty fun to.. heavy rain is pretty cool as well. also you should keep a look out for these games, GoW ascension. puppeteer, beyond : two souls, the last of us, rain, sly cooper. if you like japanese games i heard ni no kuni is coming to the west and its pretty good

God of war saga, infamous collection, ratchet and clank collection and subsequently the 3 ps3 games, heavy rain, and killzone collection are a great start
Oh and resistance 3 is my facoritr fps since half life 2 and the most underrated game this gen. The multiplayer is nothing special but the single player is incredible and different
let's see...slow installation processes (wanted to go digital only for this system), no HD cables included, and I just really missed my Xbox 360, and found that the PS3 would probably collect dust if I kept it. Also, the free games, unfortuantely, weren't in my taste. Really messy dashboard, too. I'm not a troll or anything, this is my sincere opinion of the system.
