This is earlier than expected. Nintendo and Tecmo must be desperate to sell WiiUs and some more copies of the game, or is it just to accelerate the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3 announcement? Anyway, I cannot accept such contempt towards PS360 owners and have already expressed my displeasure at the news (politely of course).

According to google translator:

"Will be interpreted as me not give presents to # NinjaGaiden fan and have the # xbox360 @ TeamNINJAStudio # PS3. I am unkind."

Not sure I follow, although I blame Google Translator.

Automatic translators can't even correctly translate French to English or the reserve, so it's clearly unreliable for Japanese.

Team Ninja's message goes like this : "the DLC that adds Kasumi to Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge is available today. This is our Christmas present"

To what I logically respond "I take it that you don't have any present for PS360 Ninja Gaiden fans. This is unkind of you"

Was that first part really necessary? How would this ever sell a Wii U?

If Razor's Edge and this unprecedented addition of Kasumi is not aimed at lifting WiiU sales, why in the hell is that not available on PS360 as well?

It's more a general goodwill move towards the hardcore than a direct bid to sell Wii Us. Really it was the "desperate" line that bothered me.

But Nintendo has at least partial control over Razor's Edge, so it is likely that none of this stuff will go to PS360 ever (assuming Sigma 3 does get made, they'll have to use someone else, or Team Ninja will legally have to recode kasumi from scratch)

Surely a goodwill move for Nintendo but incredible badwill on Tecmo's side as an increasing number of PS3/360 owners voice their concern of being ignored like this. Let's remember they do have a NGS2+ and a DOA5+ to sell and Vita owners are likely to possess  PS3. Try to sell ports to an angried fanbase can be tricky. For much as we know, they could very well add Kasumi to NGS2+ but that doesn't seem to be on the agenda whereas NIntendo has no control over this particular game. Team Ninja and Tecmo just allied themselves with Nintendo against their current fanbase and that's a very hazardous thing to do.

Btw Tecmo is still editing NG3RE in Japan so nothing prevents us to get at least the Japanese version (like Tales of Vesperia). But I do expect them to recode from scratch if needed, which would be the least they could do after turning their back at us like that.

This game is not enjoyable at all. What a snoozefest. Wave after wave of enemies, not exploration, no deviation from a linear path.

Action games are not my thing.

I have a copy I got from Nintendo heavily discounted if anyone wants it. All I'd ask for is a few eShop points for the 3DS. Free shipping.

If i could just beat that dickfucking final boss, i'd get Chapter Challenge unlocked and i'd be able to do something with this.

But i also have Arkham City: Armored Edition and the Adventure Time game for 3DS to play, plus all-day marathon of Christmas Story.

THERE'S AN ADVENTURE TIME GAME FOR 3DS AND I DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT WTFFFFFFF

I was trying to trade NG3:RE in for this at Gamestop but they were going to re-sell it at $54.99.  What a joke.  So I decided against it.  I wanted Adventure Time.  I downloaded the demo and it's pretty nice.  Loving the Zelda II vibes.

i think tecmo is going to try and aline themselves with nintendo alittle more this gen, since nintendo is willing to help fund core/mature titles for the wiiu . could be wrong of course, but i believe nintendo knows they need to co-fund these style of games to help get some of the gamers who crave some of the mature games.

I think it also have to do with them by lending the Metroid license to Tecmo.

I guess it comes down to what kind of treatment you're used to. As a Nintendo fan, i find your distress about something as simple as a DLC character (that you can't even really use until you beat the game anyway) odd. Sometimes they want to incentivize one version of the game over another; simple.
