When the PS4 launches next year or in 2014, how much will it be? Will it be expensive like ps3 launch price, low so it can compete with the next Xbox and Wii U? Somewhere in between?

I think it will be $400. They can't make it too cheap cause they HAVE to make a profit, but if they make it too expensive, then Xbox and WiiU will destroy it.

If we go by the various rumors the PS4 should launch in 2014, but I think Sony will try to push the release date to 2013. As for the price I will say a min of $350 and a max $450, more than that will be suicide imo. No way Sony is going to repeat a "599 U.S DOLLARS" again, that price hurt them way to much at the beginning of the gen.

I hope they give it top-of-the-range computer-like specs and price it at $1,000 or more.

They'd want $550, but the specs will be cut so $400

Yeah you would think that but they sure didnt show it with the Vita.  My guess is 450 or 500.  Going by rumors the NeXbox will be the most powerful and most likely be $500 but they will have a subscription plan as well.  So the 450 and 500 wouldnt be suicide.

$399 seems like a good price for a solid machine with a small profit margin to start with.
