SNES has my favorite Zelda, Metriod, Mario, Megaman and Final Fantasy. You can argue it was an evolution of the NES, but for me it perfected gaming. Likely helped tgat following generation was my least favorite (man I hated early polygnal based games).

SNES because of Square and basically all the other RPGs/Nintendo classics. And because 16 bit/2D aged exceptionally good compared to all previous generations.

@oniyide: yeah, you're probably right. It's just ashame that NES doesn't get the recognision it reserver. Without it there wouldn't be no SNES, PS1&2&3, no third parties as we know them and we wouldn't even have the same controlers as we do today. NES set all those standards!

Gamecube definitly! I cannot understand why the media´s greatest wish was to execute it! It was one of the most hated consoles of all time! And that just because media could not accept that it was more powerfull than the PS2!
