I always thought Gen1 was the best one, and that I would never love a new Pokemon game like the first ones, but I REEEALLY enjoyed Gen5. That's says a lot right there. It's my favorite new Pokemon gen <3

I've only played Gen 1 and Gen 2, I really need to catch up on Pokemon. I bought a DS to play Pokemon, but I've only got round to playing the remake of Gen 2.

Anyway, Gen 2 will always be my favourite, I absolutely love it.

Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 5. I find Gen 3 and Gen 4 to be pretty unremarkable.
I voted Gen 5 because I think it was so welcome after 3 and 4...

Also -- anyone else saddened by the declining Pokemon sales? I guess it's natural.. But I grew up in the "pokemon age"... back when every kid would carry a deck of pokemon cards to school until the teachers wised up and banned them suckas outta here. :(
