I know you love the Playstation family like me, but why is it so hard to understand this simple fact? Just because the Nintendo DS will overtake it? Errrrrr I think it's exactly the opposite.. you need OFFICIAL NEWS to know a hardware is discontinued and not vice versa.

The PS2 is in production util some official sources came and says otherwise.

Sony ships PS2 not to big markets (Japan, EU or US) but to countries like China, Mexico, Brazil, etc.

Anyway I have ABSOLUTE CERTAIN the PS2 is still in production here in Brazil (Zona Franca de Manaus)

Those 3DS numbers are kinda awesome.

 

Somebody should do a PS360 vs Wii U graph because I think the Wii U started significantly better than those two.

Who told you? Come on! Why would they tell me wrong things? Pour favor give me one single reason! A person from Sony has posted this on twitter! They removed it! But this is ABSOLUTLEY no sign of denying! I can also post something, for example i failed an exam and people say ok he did! Removing the post doesn´t change the truth, except i denye it officially! Do you understand! I do not want to quarrel, i just said what i´ve been told! The Twitter thing was not the only evidence! You said by yourself you are not sure if it was true!

There is a ANATEL seal in each PS2 made in Brazil... I alreay saw some with September and October date.

If you insists I can take some pictures this weekend but you have to proof the PS2 is discontinued and not the oposite... you have no proof and Sony numbers shows PS2 shipment.

Then, show me one single official source, that denies that the PS2 is discontinued! If such a rumor came around and it was not true, Sony HAS to comment this! And they did not! This is the conclusio out of this!
