Wow, PS3 and 360 beat out the Wii in December.

I knew things weren't that bad in NA for PS3.

There were NO Wiis or DSs anywhere in Calgary and I'm assuming the same across canada.

@fishyjoe

well the article isn't very clear is it...

It doesn't even give all platform sales...

n at the end when I saw each console listed with the sales numbers I automatically thought they must be the DEC ones..

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Nov 2005 360 sales

So that puts 360 probably around 700k LTD. Combining with NPD US LTDs we get 9.15+0.70=9.85M forXBox 360, 7.38+0.65=8.03M for Wii and 3.25+0.31=3.56M for PS3 for the end of 2007. PS3 might indeed be a bit low at Vgchartz considering there are other countries than Canada and the US in the Americas and ioi mentioned earlier he thinks NPD is too conservative as well.

how is it possible? BestBuy and Futureshop! two of the biggest electronic retailer Had about 2 shipment of Wii per store on average in December. (I know, I work at BestBuy).

That can't be more than 1000 Wii in both stores. Yes, Wii get snatched the second a store gets it, but with such supply restrain, how can it sell as much as DS?

We need Nintendo's Shipping number. any link?

Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

Yes, 360 sold 32,100 in Canada Nov 05 and around 300K in US. In Dec 05 around 300K were sold in US, so Canada was probably around 30K again, 700K seems like a pretty accurate estimate.
