Cammie's insta death in NSMB Mii in 3 seconds at their 2009 E3 press conference. Nothing has ever made me more angry at Nintendo.

The initial refusal to bring the Operation Rainfall games to NA.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Pikmin 3. Announcement in 2008, no news for 3 years, then told it's moving to Wii-U. Sony are absolutely guilty of this too, I won't deny that for a second, but their game that was announced too early (TLG) is nowhere near as important to me as Pikmin.

Also, the fact that Project Rainfall had to happen at all!

I'd say it's the turn that the company has taken since 2011. All this time I had been supporting NIntendo in trying to make games for everyone and now, all of a sudden, they expect me to be okay with the fact that Nintendo's crawling back to this annoying gore-obsessed "Mature" 11-19-year-old male audience that the rest of the industry caters to. These guys never loved you, Nintendo, and they're never going to.
The only worse thing Nintendo can do is make a "Mature" game by themselves, at which point they'll be hopeless.

The most recent would be Miyamoto's comment regarding the F-Zero series.

It was like witnessing a parent punching its own baby :'(

Agreed. I felt rage when it got localized to NoE but NoA didn't budge.

And then of course, Xenoblade sold the best in the US.

Nintendo is trying to get a better mix of customers with the Wii U. I wouldn't say they are crawling back to the gore-obsessed youth.

Outside one (bought) exclusive like Bayonetta, they aren't doing anything different then with the Wii.
