Considering that Halo 4 was the only title that myself and a lot of multi-console owners purchased (noticed by friends and acquaintances), I wonder if, without a new Halo and after Gears "4", if sales for 360 games will be as slumpy and slow as the ps3 exclusives of this year, next year?



All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d. 
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.

Actually it's a very apt analogy since they are both an products of an old franchise with a dedicated audience. 

No because Twilight appeals to teenage girls. These games mostly all appeal to the male 12-28 demographic.

The average gamer is 30, from 37. If the demographic is 12-28, that seems very specific and not diverse, probably not accounting for more than half the number of gamers.

Change the thread title to 'All PS3 exclusives released in 2012 outsell Halo 4'



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Halo 4 first 9 weeks sales prediction

PS4 to be down YOY in 2015

Not many big PS3 exclusives this year, sales have been pretty awful. Halo is one of the biggest franchises of all time, so I don't think anyone didn't see this coming.

That just shows how diverse the offerings of PS3 is. I would happily sacrifice Halo 4 for being able to choose from all those games.

Halos amazing sales.
