Yep Halo 4 rocks!

Yeah this thread has become quite a mess. But before all the pettiness, there was a nugget of good sales discussion to be had for this topic.

I've already instructed Sales to start over with a nice, new, shiny topic with no MC restrictions. Should be interesting. Hopefully he'll get to it sooner rather than later. Or if someone else wants to do it, by all means go for it.

Eh, Halo 4 is still sitting at a 87 meta. We can't all be winners.

I chose to give very little fucks about sales. 360 exclusives just sell better, there is no denying but I enjoy the quality and variety of PS3 exclusives.

Couple things to consider is that Sony hasn't had a blockbuster exclusive this year. A case could have been made for Starhawk, but, they didn't advertise that game as they should have. I also see there is PS All Stars listed as N/A.

Another thing to consider is the advertising blitz that MS puts into their quality lines such as Halo. I'm not using that as an excuse or argument, just stating that there are major discrepencies between Sony and Microsoft's advertising.

Lastly, it just shows that Sony did not have a quality line up for exclusives in 2012. But, again, congrats to Halo 4. I'm sure it's an awesome game.

For the record, I knew there was no way for the PS3 not to lose in this situation. My purpose was to get him to get rid of his 70+ rule. That way, he would have to wait a few weeks before claiming absolute victory. Sure, my actions wouldn't stop the victory, I knew that. But they would at least delay it. And by the time Halo 4 does outsell every 2012 PS3 exclusive, maybe people would have forgotten about the entire situation (or Sales2099 would get himself banned). It probably isn't likely, but it's the only hope I had.
