Thats stupid. This gen is up now for Nintendo's Wii, it served its purpose with the casuals. It's down to the PS3 and 360 now.

You're not getting what I am saying. The Wii is out of this...it's futile to keep arguing that for either the 360 or the PS3, in the same vein Forza 4 will never get close to GT5 so why would anyone boast about those little things from either side of the fence? Thats like what it would be like if some moron was counting the days  to see  if Killzone 3 ever gets close to Halo 3 or Reach.

Your comparison is stupid for reasons too numerous to list. The PS3 actually has a chance in hell of approaching the Wii's lifetime sales, especially if Sony delays / botches the PS4 / Orbis launch like that of the Vita. Gran Turismo 5's 2012 sales are over three hundred thousand ahead of Forza 4 whereas the PS3's 2012 sales exceede those of the Wii by 4.4 million. Gran Turismo is more than three times as popular as Forza 4 while the Wii isn't even 50% more popular than the PS3.

@Bouzane The fact that you believe it can catch the Wii is hilarious. Also Gt can be that much more popular because it has sold so little compared to the Wii. The Wii would need to sell well beyond the ps2 to be that much more popular so clearly your argument is highly flawed. It has outsold the Wii that much and is still that far behind. The fact is Forza is much closer to GT than PS3 is to Wii, no spin there at all lol.

One question, why dismiss the current sales trends? The PS3 is outselling the Wii and it will continue to do so until its production ends. By the time the dust settles we may see something like 100 M PS3s vs 110 M Wiis. Who cares if the sales are achieved after the release of the 8th gen systems? Nobody made any such comments when the SNES surpassed the Genesis simply because the Saturn launched nearly two years before the N64.
