Dear PS3 sales

Not sure why you'd call yourself such a name - attaching yourself to a corporate entity is odd -, but that's besides the point. I think many of us aren't really concerned about power, but instead new ways of doing things. I'm not totally convinced the Gamepad is revolutionary as yet, but it has some great potential. That is my interest in buying it. Should complement the 3ds and 360 nicely.

I wonder why Nintendo couldn't do something cool with the gamepad with a launch title. That way, people might have forgotten about all this power talk and enjoyed the gamez.

I guess the 'cool' stuff isn't ready, though I think Nintendoland looks pretty cool. Zombi U looks funky as well, despite the mixed reviews. Seems to be a bit of a Brit vs US split on the reviews there. It should be about the gamez, eh Pezus?

That's what I'm saying. Nintendoland looks OK but nothing too exciting that would make you want to buy the machine. Mario is been there, done that of course. I just feel like the current lineup lacks something really exciting and new that shows the true potential of that gamepad from Nintendo.

It's really neat though, if you fuck around with it for a few days, it's like woo~ ah~ Once they iron out the kinks, it'd be a lot better than what I've seen with the xbox dashboard and XMB for sure, it's clean yet visible and not clutered at all, and the options are straight forward, it even has a walk through guiding you all the way to setup the system. I've also had pretty good luck using the gampad in the restroom and in parts of the living room from quiet a distance away, I'm talking like 1 floor difference lol.

This snubs the Wii U because... they insulted the Wii U? I didn't insult the game, just them, for being insulting.

As far as I know, they made profit off of Metro 2033. They are hardly incompetant they just are a rare small publisher in Europe making a unique game. What he said about the Wii U may be true; I have not payed attention. Either way they have to use resources smartly and if that means not publishing it on the platform with the smallest base it easily could be a move to keep themselves from failing.

They certainly did make a decent profit off of it.   It was a pretty big hit in Eastern Europe and Russia.

Getting this game on a console wouldn't be doing this game justice, even know I plan on getting a Wii U I will still be getting this game on PC.  This game is pushing the bar in graphics.

Pretty amazing concerning the graphical leap. It seems like there was more budget given to the new one as it clearly made money. Other than graphics it is hopeful that a lot of the bugs are ironed out as the first one lost a lot of review points respect due to the problems.

And yes, according to the well quoted you need only 300,000 copies of a HD game to sell to make a profit saying, it definitely made a profit.

I am still 2-3 years away from deciding on buying a Wii U though I am more concerned with getting a PC that is top onf the line. Time will tell depending on how the next few years actually change gaming.

There you go. Another AAA developer. Raw. Unfiltered.
Once again, the Wii U's success will be due to 1st party games not 3rd party. It's always been like this, I doubt it would ever change. The biggest Wii 3rd party franchise was Just Dance, and that is multiplatform now. Skylanders shows promise, but its also multiplat. These kids/family games are going to be the blockbuster of the next generation, Sony and Microsoft need to find a way to attract families early on if they want to cock-block the Wii U.

Again old news, whe have known for a long time that the CPU speed on the system is pretty slow. The GPU and memory are the important parts.

GPU doesn't make up for the slow CPU. See how he said how physics and gameplay run on the CPU? This is already hurting ports of current-gen games, next-gen it might not even get ports at all for CPU intensive games.(I'm assuming PS4/720 CPU will be much faster than Wii U here)

PC-centric developers really have no say here. These people are going to be CPU-reliant.

They don't know that physics is mostly off-loaded to the GPU in the new setup, for one. They just don't know.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Blaming the Wii U CPU when their company is on the verge of financial collapse? Classy. Not a very good scapegoat, though.

Having a fourth SKU for Last Light would add to sales and help the company survive (if it lasts that long). If THQ fails to start repaying Wells Fargo in January I think it's all over for that company. Sell off the studios they have left, let publishers with money in the bank finish those games. I really want South Park Stick of Truth.

Horrible CPU? It will be a success. After all, NOA has a horrible president and American Ninty gamers not only get trolled by him, but they even ask for mooooaaaaaarrrr!!!!

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

the sony situation don't let them lauch a monster system ps4 is not going to be a monster maybe microsoft can lauch a system like that, but i think the diferences in graphics are going to be indiscernible in all the 3 systems, well maybe graphics whores are going to see the differences :) lol

34 years playing games.
