Forums - Sony - My opinion of Black Ops: Declassified as a Sony Fanboy

yeah, anything to differentiate itself from it's consoles counter part. I believe the Vita can have "console quality" handheld games. The developers just need to be creative with the franchises instead of trying to offer the same experience as consoles... because that will never work.

I think it can, too. Uncharted, Unit 13, Gravity Rush, and even Assassin's Creed (bugs aside) show that it's a capable piece of hardware when used correctly. Where I think Sony done goofed was in putting its eggs in the western basket this year, banking on AC and COD to rope in gamers... despite the fact that both games were going head to head with their home console big brothers. Not that such a strategy would have worked anyway. Instead they should have concentrated on making sure that the level of support that the PSP got from Japanese  developers would carry over to the Vita.

hello guys this is my third post :D. I been following the sales on this website for about 3 years but never posted until recently. Anyway let me proclaim my allegiance so you know where my thoughts are. I am strong supporter of the Playstation battle. Ok now that thats out of the way... to the topic.

I think what RolStoppable said is exactly what happened. They believed that a call of duty game was going to bring them a bunch of vita sales, and when they saw that activision didn't want to do it, they asked nihilistic to do it. The $50 price tag thats activision all the way. They are publishing it.

Even if Nihilistic was developing it there is no excuse for Activision (not Sony) to have sent a handful of developers to work with the studio throughout the development. This would make sure Activisions expectations of the game were at least mostly met. (which should be high)

Uhg, almost forgot the game is actually 10 bucks above standard, $50. What a slap in the face to gamers all around. No portable game should ever be over $40, $20 is the most ideal. Especially for a game where they know it is not of highest quality. I felt the same when Little Deviants was priced at full 40 when it first came out.......quickly dropped tho.

The price was the most commented from the genuine looking user reviews...

I'm interested to see how this game sells, and how well it does for the Vita.

As an mobile game fanboy i'm happy that activision didn't use their Activision Leeds studio.. which was especially created to deal with CoD on all handheld and mobile platform... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-06-activision-leeds-to-develop-call-of-duty-handheld-games-report

which can only mean they are too busy and we mobile users will get a fun and superior CoD game than this turd on our favourite smartphones.. I hope for a new zombies games...

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I want to know why are people sony this sony that when cod is an activison game published by activison.
i doubt sony had much of a hand in it.

Wasn't it activision that hired nihilstic to make that game not sony?

That's why I keep asking for a source.  The way people are talking makes it sound like Sony played a major part somehow, which surprised me greatly.  I think someone implied that Sony funded the game?  I've never heard of anything like that with an Activision IP.
