Yeah I have a laser cleaning kit, as it stopped playing metroid other m and xenoblade at one point, so yeah I've tried that :)

This is probably the first time I've heard of a Wii dying.
Just goes to show that even Nintendo consoles aren't full-proof.

It's understandable why Nintendo made the Wii U the way they did. Look at PS3 and 360, both of them suffer from hardware failures. I hope they learn their lesson for next-gen.

I noticed two months ago that my Wii couldn't read dual layered DVDs anymore... guess my laser is also going.

Fighter is a very bad name - i can give you that. At the same time, just as I don't pretend to be funny when i am not, i won't pretend "fighter" is likeable.
