That controller transforming into a Vita is AWESOME! Anyone know where I can get a GIF of it? Want to have it in my sig.

The time Sony actually spends $$$ on marketing......they do it on a game that probably won't score very well on metacritic.

EDIT: I say this because many gamers here would prefer Sony to spend marketing $$$ on their best exclusives instead.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Who cares? It has the call of duty name in it and therefore will still sell a reasonable amount. The PSP game has a 64 on meta but it still sold a lot. It's for the North American market so what do you expect. No hate to North Americans (I am one) but we tend to go hyper over shooter games.

Ooooh, would have been a great advert if it wasn't for that gameplay footage choice. Where the hell is the recoil too?

Now thats a loaded statement.

COD is played by the 360/PS3 and PC crowd. The Vita version is like a Wii version: it exists, but it isnt where the gamers are gonna be.

Either the games are amazing and have 0 marketing, or the games are bad and they get marketing. Resistance Burning Skies also comes to mind. Shame and a waste of resources.

To be fair it only has 1 review on Metacritic and that review is rated low because the multiplayer has server issues (Could be due to a number of factors and will eventually be ironed out) and they don't like the fact that it doesn't have a fully fleshed out campaign. The user feedback is actually quite positive on this game.

Vita is in a damned if you do, damed if you don't predicament right now. If the game is designed like a console game, it gets hit for not being tailored to on the go, short burst gaming. If it is tailored to short burst, on the go gaming it gets blasted for not being designed like a console game. All this depends on the reviewer and what style of gaming they are expecting on the Vita.

They seem to love it over on GAF and Gamefaqs. The Operations mode has a leaderboard that keeps track of what you are doing so you can compare and compete with friends, but supposedly it hangs while updating due to possible server overload, which would also possibly explain the Pocketgamer reviewers issues of getting into multiplayer games. Remember too that they bought their own copy on launch day and almost all shooters, especially CoD titles have server issues during launch due to many people trying to get on at once. It's not like the 360 review where they get to test out everything in a controlled environment.

Give it a week or so to get ironed out. When it does work people say it feels like a faithful CoD multplayer experience.

Everyone also knows that if this was on iPhone it would get higher scores.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Now thats insecure and not nice at all. Its common knowledge Sony fans want Sony to step up on their marketing.

That 40 will bring down the average of the game even if others are more positive. In general, getting below 70 is seen as a bad game. The 40 review is either a sign of similar reviews, or will bring down the average of the game to a score below initial hype and expectations. The fact that the reviews arent coming in yet suggest the results aresn't gonna be overly favourable.

Im sorry if I hurt your feelings, but this is an educated guess and fact-stating (in regards to how Sony spends marketing $$$).
