My hint for my 42th is:
Was first released on the GBA, then on the DS in the west, where the game got an additional "lvl". That level is an dlc on the wiiware, since the game is also available on the wiiware.

#43 - Theme Hospital is probably the most humorous video game ever made. The simple graphics still hold up because of the 'comic-book'-like appearance. The objective in this 'simulation' game is to build and run a successful hospital. Sounds serious, but it isn't. In your hallways roam people with the strangest illnesses, looking for the strangest machines to cure them. Besides the wide variety of diseases a patient can have, and thus the most colorful lot of people you'll ever see in a game, your patient perform the most hilarious actions while in your hospital. Get ready to hear a lot of barfing and farting sounds. And then I never even spoke of the comments made by your hospital's receptionist.

#42 - ?
A strategy game by a development studio exclusively known for it's excellent RTS games (and particularly one series in general). This game is however not their main claim to fame. Sadly, since 2009, the studio is no more.

43. Final Fantasy X (PS2)

This felt a bit linear for a FF game but the story and new strategic battle system kept me plugging through the game and I'm glad I did. Whilst linear, they kept variety in the gameplay with multiple, quality side-quests, some continued throughout the game (e.g. Al-Bhed primers) and the blitzball mini game was thoroughly entertaining. The way the party dynamic also kept things interesting, especially with the issues of race between Wakka and Rikku. Oh, and the graphics at the time were pretty good too.

43. Is an Isometric game with awesome co-op!
42. An Relatively unknown "World's Greatest Detective game". Is ancient.

I actually have no idea, but colour me intrigued.

I can't actually believe I got that.  I vaguely remembered there being a Yu-gi-oh! game with the suffix "of the roses" when I was researching one to buy.  Ended up getting Forbidden Memories (which was also excellent, I'd add).  May have to hunt this down one day :)

Clue for 42: Game features revenge.

@ bold, completely agree.  So many playthroughs of that game have given me ridiculous things to laugh about.  Reading about some of the illnesses in the info tab genuinely made me laugh more than any other game has.

@ the clue, I'm thinking maybe Halo Wars, or Age of Mythology?  Not sure if you'd classify Mythology as part of the "Age of" series!
