#37. ExciteBots: Trick Racing (Wii)

I love racing games like these, fast past, non-realistic, action...etc. This game is like all that x10. This game was so much fun to play, I didn't expect it to be so fun (judging a game by sales = fail). I played Excite Truck, and I loved it a lot too, but this one is just way more fun. In-race stunts = win. To top all that off, it has both split-screen multiplayer and online play. I enjoyed this game for quite a while.

My #37 is one of the best reasons to own a Sega Saturn: Panzer Dragoon. It's a rail shooter, not unlike Star Fox. Story, art direction, music, and demanding gameplay make it a must-play game. The cut-scenes are mesmerizing, the boss battles epic, the worlds eye-popping. I've bought all the sequels but have yet to play them. Soon though!

Hint for #36:

This is the first game in a five-game series. The fifth game is due out next year with a different-looking hero.

I wish we got this in Europe, I thought it looked really good :(

37. Red Dead Redemption (PS3)

Or Grand Theft Horse as it's sometimes jokingly called. I keep changing my opinion of this game, as can be seen if you look over its placing on my lists over the last couple of years. The first year it was rather high up, and then last year it didn't make it all, but I replayed it earlier this year and decided it needed to be in. You play as a former outlaw forcibly recruited by the government to track down and kill his old gang members in the old west and Mexico. It plays similarly to GTA, with the addition of being able to go out and hunt wildlife, or be hunted by the wildlife in return (listen out for those damn cougars that can come out of nowhere).

Number 36 is one of about half a dozen versions of a popular fighter.

Oh yeah... Well, you could always hack your Wii, if you still wanna play it.

It really was fun, though I doubt anyone plays it online anymore.
