Probably 2013 unfortunately :/. I'm not entirely sure though! If it's 2012, the gap will be 1.55m+ in PS3's favor!

i think he meant the 2012 gap... is about 1.4M with 29 dec numbers and with 5 january can go to 1.55M that he mention... the 1.85M total would need a 300K difference for next week and that is impossible.

2012 of course. PS3 hasn't quite overtaken 360 yet

One thing that I was thinking about earlier, if vgc is correct and it's only about 600k short of 75m by January 1st wouldn't MS have announced 360 crossed that mark by now in shipments? They made a special announcer for 50 million.

I don't think so... They'll probably do it when it reaches the 80 million mark.

2012 sales are over 1,4 million for the PS3.

PS3 erases 5 weeks of X360 sales.
