What happened to the Vita heaven Sony was supposed to have?
Did they totally give up on the Vita?

Its killing me to see Vita like this. I was one of those who stayed up to watch the Vita reveal (in Japanese). I was very excited. Sadly, the developer support just isn't there. I have yet to buy a Vita, and may never buy one. I have a PS3(and soon a PS4). There is little reason for me to own a Vita.

Yes, precisely 13,442 people bought the system after seeing the announcement on jump magazine

(no, no one will have this answer... but I suppose some people did buy a 3DS because of the announcement, but way more will buy it on the game release day. I don't believe in announcement boosts)

Layton, Bravely Default... Encyclopedia of flora and fauna (lol), style savvy... a couple more, I think.

Yeah, they need to improve this, releasing day 1 digital. In japan it may not be as huge, but it is in the west.
