Glad to see they fixed Persona 4: Golden to when it is actually releasing. Will probably reach 100k now. Whether that's anything like accurate remains to be seen! (I'd guess it's not far off, it is kind of a niche series with a big fanbase but not necessarily a leggy game).

Anyhow, I gasp at the pre-orders added this week for Halo & CoD. Very impressive.

PSABR finally in the top 20, excellent. I have a feeling that, given the right reviews and support, it's going to be a legs game, but we'll have to see.

Zone of the Enders seems too high to me, I never knew it was that popular. God of War doing extremely well.

Bottom half - everything has shot up with all these new releases. Last of Us & Sly doing steady (I'm surprised and slightly sceptical at how well Sly is doing, to be honest). Blops Declassified, idk. It's had a good week at least, not gonna be explosive figures though.

I reckon GTA 5 will start doing gangbusters soon.

Also, the release date for a lot of the bottom half stuff is wrong. Blops Declassified is 2 weeks I think. The Wii-U games are 2-3 weeks. Quite a few of them at the bottom of the chart though, impressive.

i wish the chief good luck for his first week ;)

Were Reach pre-order numbers adjusted down? It was the first game to reach 2m pre-orders, was it not?

Nope, the 2M you're thinking of will have been with regards to a VGC article that Halo Reach reached (sorry) 2M pre-orders worldwide, not U.S.A exclusively would be my guess.

Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 have been adjusted up though btw.

No I am almost certain.

Yup, found it: http://www.vgchartz.com/article/81994/americas-preorders-chart-11-september-2010-halo-reach-2-million/

PosNameConsoleWeeksChangeTotal
1 Halo: Reach X360 1 300,735 1,992,079

Before the numbers were extrapolated to include Americas(I think it was just north america). The 400k preorders lost were because preorders were adjusted to only include United States estimates.

EDIT: sorry, looks like somebody already answered.

Halo above cod.. not sure

Sweet for Halo 4 there. Looks like the trend may continue. I believe it was Halo 3 and Reach that were both profitable in 24 hours. Not really difficult to think that the same will be true of Halo 4. Even if they spent a hundred million or so on development and marketing (doubt it would be that much, but one never knows), 3 million units day one would probably be enough for instant profitability.

Interesting number for AC3 and Blops 2 for the WiiU lol! XD I wonder how much those games will sell on the wiiU?

Mexico buys alot of Halos and Canada.

400k for the rest of the Americas is still way too much. Wasn't USA around 87% of Americas and Halo is also a really USA-centric game

Halo Reach sold 3.7mil week 1.
2.4mil in USA
716k in Europe
42k in Japan

That leaves 542k for the rest of the world. The majority of those sales are in Canada, Mexico, and Australia, but still your right that clearly there weren't 400k preorders in just Mexico and Canada. Whether that means they overestimated preorders in USA or in the rest of America, I don't know. I do remember Halo Reach's first week was adjusted down but I have no idea what region was adjusted down. If it was the US then it was US preorders that were probably adjusted down.

Nice to see adjustments to get a little bit more accurate. Persona doing too good I think though. Also GoW doing really good.
