Shipped, including all the ones sent out for bundles now available and the supply required if the game to take it through the holidays and beyond. But likely undertracked by a few hundred k or so I reckon. I'd expect the next update of shipments to be very small unless heavy bundling continues.

nice try, but this is as of september. the bundles started in octobor. and for a game that has been released for almost 3 years now they wont over ship or anything, its most probably undertracked by about 900k

So you think they have only 100k available for the holidays and bundles??

call me crazy for this idea, but they can always ship more! also this is as september 2012, the holiday shipping didnt start yet. why would they over ship a game that is released back in 2010?

the game is still selling why would they keep such a low stock?? undertrack by 500k is more likely. 400k to 500k on shelves is not that much for games since they don't take a lot of place and GT is a high profile game with an history of selling consistently

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

The best comment I found in N4G.

"I hate racing games, but I love this racing game"

Grant Turismo is that.

Crazy how well it sold this year compared to last year. Really weird that each region's total doesn't add up to the global total on their website. I wonder which number is the right one.(Sorry if someone already explained this, I didn't read every post).

Guess a lot of us were wrong after all. The game should safely ride past 10million and more before all is said and done.

still there are no huge spikes in the game selling, about 40 k a week isnt much, why keep half a million on store shelfs? even if they more than 100k available 200k is most probably the max. i dont see why they would overstock a 2 year old game, even if its still selling good, its not selling as high as a new game would but its selling consinstantly

Good, good. Although I am sure a lot of this is because of it's different editions.

Yes,because people buy the same game twice knowing that they could get the DLC cheaper off the PSN store instead of having to cash out $40 for another updated version.

Great Logic.

These are shipped nos. Different editions can sometimes end up in overshipping.

This. When I was a kid I didn't like racing games, yet I still bought Gran Turismo 4

Woah it's tracking really well! I think 500k undertracked is a good guess, but in what region(s)?

looks to me that they didn't include academy edition in their total numbers for some reason. add everything up and you get 9 million. i would figure the total number would be more accurate than adding the different territories considering they are all to the closest 10 and are not exsact figures

A bit everywhere but Japan, but mostly in Europe.

Nice!

On a tangent, Vita needs GT quick!
