Who are the 5 insane people who believe that the PS3 will match or overtake the X360 this year? I demand that they come forward and reveal themselves.
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
It will be at least 1.2m higher than it is now. Which means it'll be 2,830,000+. MARK MY WORDS.

I'm going to say that PS3 will match 360 sales this holiday and retain the ~1.6 million gap.
