Yeah, that was my general impression. Last year, I remember it was Battlefield vs. Call of Duty.....Battlefield won.

Battlefield 3 won? Modern Warfare 3 scored better than Battlefield 3... 89 vs 84 if I remember... CoD is better IMO.

It's a valid review, I read it and most of what it says is an indictment on not just Halo but all of the other money milking franchises that people are so brainwashed into feeding. And in no way is this review an indictment on metocritic.

Enjoy your game, no need to make pointless threads unless you actually have a point.

you are bad as reviewer

Obviously I haven't played the game, but the review actually does seem to make coherent arguments. Having a very different opinion to the majority doesn't necessarily make someone a troll/fanboy. You can't just rule out a score because it doesn't concur with the majority.

I was talking about user scores on metacritic.

Yes, no doubt. Its kind of funny to see though....how people choose to hate certain games.

He score Uncharted 3 and Journey 2/5.

Journey does suck. You play as a flying tissue for maybe an hour with no story. Now your going to tell me it is art. However if the game has no story and is an hour long if that then what is the point? Here is a case of Journey being overrated because it is different. Different =/= Good.

An opinion is not a review. That is where 99 percent of these sites and people that follow them messed up.

The industry needs to adopt guidlines for reviews. Cut out the bias opinions (both positive and negative) and give people real reviews and not someones opinion.

Journey is great.

The story is your own journey... so each player made it own story... I remember a review puting in words what I want to say.

Edit - Found.

"Journey’s story is far more than just the tale of a strange creature in the desert trying to make its way to a distant mountain. Journey’s true story is the story of us. The story of your life, of my life, the common experiences that make up all individual human life. Not the specific experiences that any one person has during their lifetime, but the general experiences that we all go though that define what it is to be human."

An opinion is not a review.

Yes, it is. It's the reviewer's opinion on a game. What else would it be? There is no objective lens of quality. They can try to assess it's value to others besides themselves but ultimately they can't possess other people's minds to see through their eyes, so all a reviewer has is their own perception.
