I really can't understand why people want a cheap console. Do you want to buy a new one in 5 years?

PS3 was not cheap, but im on my third one. Unless you ment a PS5 then im not sure why you say that when most owners have had a PS3 break at least once.

Until a platform's failure rate is above 50% I wouldn't really use the word 'most'.

Why all this speculation when i told you days ago what the ps4 would be.
It will be a system slightly better specced than wiiu, incorporate vita as a controller, like wiiu and use gaikai for psn+ members to stream the games they bought in 4k resolution.

Theres a reason they said they're avoiding the costs, not working with them, and why they said both the games of today and thetomorrow, and why their system will allow for system navigation within game.

You are saying that each PS4 will come with a Vita?

It will be a system slightly better specced than wiiu

That's a PS3.

Not exactly, wiiU has some specialized tech to accomplish their unique functions.

The PAL standard uses 24hz and 50hz... NTSC standards uses 30hz and 60hz... but there aren't no real difference.

And all new HDTV uses PAL or NTSC automaticaly based in the console or player output.

Thanks for clearing that up, but does that mean I've been playing Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2 at 24fps?!! It plays awfully smooth for 24fps. Some PC players think 60fps is inadequate!

Most monitors are 60Hz though, so anything above 60 FPS would be useless in those cases.

That's exactly why I think PC gaming - unless you have a very high end rig - is often a complete mess. Playing Battlefield Bad company 2 for PC, the framerate can go up to 150 fps. But other times there's horrible slowdown when it struggles to reach 60 fps. For some reason 30 fps looks horrible on PC (i.e. unless the fps counter is not in sync with the in-game action) say compared to PS3. Why so? Modest PC specs aside, should any game really drop from 150 to 15 fps within seconds??

Then there's Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 on PC, which runs at its native 60 fps quite easily and should suit the 60 hz monitor I'm using. But then, unbelievably, tearing becomes apparent here and there - HOW? So I have to use V-sync, triple buffering and DxTory at 58-60 fps, just to be sure the tearing's removed and hopefully with no addition to input lag. It's damn messy. Console gaming has much better convenience and so next gen consoles will always have wider global appeal and better game sales than PC.

No rumors of any gimmick so far.

Just the way I like it. Playstation Move was a failure and there is no point in following up with its successor. Focus purely on the core gamer.

Sadly I just don't think that's going to happen. The Just Dance market is too big to ignore. I just hope they launch PS Move 2.0 or whatever seperately and not force it on us like MS most likely will with Kinect 2.0.

NO NO NO.

Why do you think to PS1 was so huge?

Why do you think the PS2 was so huge?

Why do you think PS3 did not have the level of success as predecessors?

Why do you think VITA is having so trouble?

Surely you think all those 100mill PS1 owners were core?

Surely you think all those 120  PS2 owners were core?

Hell surely you dont think all PS3 owners are core?

C'mon man

I think you're confusing people saying what they want from a console with what would make the console a success.

It's the same as people asking for another powerhouse console.  That's obviously not in the best interests of Sony because it'll probably come at the expense of appealing to the masses.  But they're not wrong for wanting what they want from a console.

Iam hyped for the PS4. But the AMD 10 is an ok chip

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

Sounds good, I guess it will be revealed in e3 2013 or around January 2014 and then released either November 2014 or feburary 2015. Only because the ps3 still has a little more life in it and as Sony talk about the ps3 having a 10 year life cycle instead of the normal 6.
