True, but Padme wasn't a Jedi, and Padme told Anakin earlier in Revenge that she wasn't worried about his vision, she never understood why he was so freaked out. "My mother was killed by these people" is something anyone can get, "i'm having a vision about you dying from something super-routine and preventable," is just stupid, even amongst Jedi.

Um, isn't that the whole basis of Jedi-ism? Seeing into the future, whether it's by fractions of a second or further into the futire? Even Yoda was sensing something big was about to happen to the Republic.

Believe me, if Jedi were real and a proven Jedi told me I was going to die, I'd be rather worried about it.

Mature Jedi knew that visions were not absolute. It was a show of Anakin's immaturity that he went down the dark path because he put so much stock in a vision of the future, just as it was a show of Luke's immaturity in Empire that he went rushing off to Cloud City just because he saw Han and Leia as being in danger. Luke was too late to save Han, and Lando was the one really responsible for saving Leia and Chewie, which would have happened with his intervention or not

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I guess that's plausible, considering Yoda allowed Obi Wan to train Anakin despite seeing a dark future for the boy. There would need to be a degree of judgement and whether the costs outweigh the benefits.

Anakin would want to keep Padme at all costs, even if it did mean turning to the Dark side. Others would see it as a less favourable decision.

No one including The Clone Wars in their lists? Technically its the seventh Star Wars film.

While I like the TV series, I thought the movie was pretty terrible in comparison. I'm glad I didn't see it until after I started watching the series, because it probably would have turned me off of the show.

I do actually enjoy the prequels to an extent, but... while I can forgive bad acting in the original trilogy, Anakin and Padme were done so horribly in the prequels that I have to skip their scenes whenever I watch the movies because they cause me physical pain.

Best to worst: VI, V, III, IV, II, I.

Edit: I am going to smash the faces of Return of the Jedi haters. Strictly metaphorically speaking.

While I don't hate it... a lot of the climax is REALLY weak.

Pretty much anything having to do with the Ewoks is awful and falls into "home alone" territory with the bad guys  losing to freaking tree trunks and bows and arrows.

Arrows pierce the stormtrooper armor.  I mean... come on.

It essentially makes both the rebellion and the empire look hopelessly incompetant.

Empire always comes out on top for me due to the reveal of Vader as Luke father. I'll always remember watching that for the first time. Plus Hoth kicks ass.

The rest of mine is just the order I would most like to watch again and again.

Revenge of The Sith
Empire Strikes Back
A New Hope
Return of The Jedi
The Phantom Menance
Attack of the Clones

I hope Episode 7 will do the same wonders as Empire Strikes Back or Revenge of The Sith
