LOL WOW, how many limited edition Halo, CoD and Gears of war 360's are there? Never mind about the limited edition coloured systems, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear, Uncharted etc.

These bundles only give temporary boosts on both sides.

However I do agee, Sony typically has better legs in Latin America, PS3 will outsell the 360 when 360 sales die off. So some point into the next gen.

No, but I could see it happening in 2014 depending on
1) Sony price cuts.
2) If MS doesn't price cut again
and/or MS releases their next XBox by next holiday (most likely case).

COD and HALO sell almost the same numbers everytime, and yet when those games are released with their respective limited editions, the custom designed 360 sell a lot.  If there are more buyers for those customed design consoles and the games,  how can the sales of those games always on the same level?  If really those were new users the sales for those franchises would be a lot higher each time.  At least that is what I think regarding the consoles with new designs.   I think if the consoles were the normal ones, the sales would not get that high.

Also PS3 does not has limited edition consoles (different designs), so there is no purpose to re-buy the console.

No Halo and Cod (sells more 360's then PS3's) + Black Friday will mean that 360 will probably sell more this Holiday season pushing the gap to 2.3-2.5 million. The two main factors are how the two consoles do in Europe, States and the affect of the Wii U will decide how little or large the gap will be. However if the PS3 does well in Europe this holiday then the gap will stay the same or lower down to 1.5 million or be 1.3 million.

If this Holiday is in 360's favour (2.5 million gap)
If this Holiday is in PS3's favour (1.3 million gap)

No VGC is doing just fine when it comes to trackin consoles ...

It won't happen this year, I expect both shipment to be close as they usually are. But can we slow down on the Kinect, its as much a factor as move is right now.

Kinect shipped over 2m units this year, so yeah... it's clearly fizzling out.


Sony has shipped 5 million move. They reported 10 million in march, now its at 15million.

If they'd cut the price instead of released bundles, then I'd say there's a chance. But the gap should stay as it is until next year. Around the time the next God of War comes out, the momentum will swing back in their favor.  So maybe toward the end of next year.

well i'd say it will likely happen in June or July 2013. wk 10 Nov. 2012 shows 360 leading by 96k. lets wait for COD sales.
