cod only sell's better on 360 dues to early access to the map packs and halo is only on the xbox.

At this point in the generation who really cares? Which system was more profitable, which system opened up the greatest amount of marketshare? Who outsold who by some small margin at tihis point in the game is a very technical point. Who has the momentum is what matters.

Because it was 2 weeks before Black Friday. Who is going to go out and spend money on a console and spend 50 to 150 dollars more 2 weeks before all the bundles go on sale? The answer is only stupid people. Game Stop has a 250 GB 360 with BO2, Skyrim, and Forza 4. They also have their Halo bundle. Lets wait until after Christmas to see what really happens.

The sales will most likely not be what they were in previous years, but no one should be making judgment calls on sales until it is all said and done for the Holidays.

Clealy Kinect has been a massive commercial success for the period of its life and has helped keep the 360 where it has been for the last 2 years.  Move is a modest success both commercially and it hype.

360 sucks all year.  Well this year it has 6.2m v 7.8m for the ps3.  if the 360 sucks and is therefore very bad indeed then the PS3 much just be plain bad as the difference isnt that great.


Kinect is the commercial success, Move is the technical success. Again, technical success means nothing if it has no games just like the Vita. The 360 always loses to the PS3 the majority of the year and in the 4th quarter pulls itself together at black friday and Christmas.

Technical success?...as in it actually works as opposed to Kinect in many cases?

In which case that's ridiculous because you don't say a product is a success purely for "working".


The Move is the most accurate piece of tech available which is able to accomplish far more than both the Kinect and the Wii aimed to accomplish. It does what they do combined, including controling the 3D space. It has no games and no marketability outside of that, which is half the reason its a commercial failure. Superior tech means nothing. Look at the Vita if you think I am wrong. The Kinect is a commercial success.

did i miss read the title of this tread, a simple yes no is sufficient not arguing over accessories (peripherals), or how much has been sold this month.

all this tread want's to know is do you think the ps3 will overtake the 360 by january 1st 2013 not how many petty arguments can you have between the ps3 and 360!
