I wonder if this time the models will reflect the class they are at the moment.

I really liked the visuals in the PS game (but that's just me, I like old-school and the rotating camera was amazing, but I remember the game being panned for that a lot), but the sprites, worse than even dragon quest VI, were very bad.

DQXI is pretty much a lock to be in development for 3DS already.

If I were Nintendo I'd slip them a few extra bucks to make a Wii U HD version as well (ala MH3G Ultimate). Play at home/on the go.

Of course it was switched to the Playstation and never was released on the N64/64DD.

Now it will be appearing on a Nintendo platform for the first time, some 17 years later (time flies).

FF VII was originally on N64 as well, maybe that'll come back to Nintendo eventually?

Could you imagine the meltdowns if a FF7 Remake was announced for the next Xbox only lmfao. Not that it would matter to me cause I'll be getting all the new systems eventually, but it would be fucking funny!

Forget wii u, 360 2 or ps4. 3ds is the ps1/ps2 of this generation.

And even if microsoft had some kind of deal in place for an ff vii remake japan still wouldn't buy it. It isn't made by a japanese company.

YES! This is beyond awesome! Since I haven't played either of the originally-Playstation titles, this'll be as good as a new mainline DQ for me, :D. Expecting it early 2014, I guess.
In preparation for this, I'm gonna replay DWI-II, re-replay DQIV and DQV, re-re-replay DQIX, re-re-re-re-replay DQIII and finally force myself through the second part of DQVI, :D. Next summer's gonna be busy.

Looks gorgeous. Wouldn't mind a DQ8 remake on the Wii U if they can make it at least 1080p natively.
