There was something else announced as well according to gamefaqs. A psp remake.

Luckily I have a japanese one but I can't understand the text. Playing jrpgs is not like playing kagura. Localize these please?

Yes! I've always wanted to play this one! Quick, Nintendo, publish it in Europe! (And do it soon, please...)

Also, we all know what a Dragon Quest Remake means - the next mainline DQ game is gonna be on 3DS. And they'll remake all the other ones for the platform, as well.. for the 100th time or so.

Pavolink the picture in the OP doesn't work, fix it!

Now that this game has been announced, maybe we can get a FF V remake as well? It's also mean DQ VIII will eventually get a remake and that was like one of the best games on PS2.
