yea, I had the novo7 fire/flame(new firmware edition) aswell

very decent tablet and a very good price - just not quite good enough in the tasks I need a tablet to do (drawing wasn't possible as it's touchscreen didn't work well with my capacitive stylus / HDMI picture quality wasn't that good either), so I returned that one

currently I'm pretty interested in the Ainol novo8 dream which releases in nov (no idea when it will be available here in germany though..), but I'm not sure how good the quad-core in that device is

Far drawing, you should get the Samsung Note 10.1 My brother is a graphic artist and an Apple lover. Yet that is the tablet he owns and swears by for overall use as a tablet and especially the SPen.

hm.. the Note 10.1 is more expensive than the Nexus 10 with considerably worse specs, slow updates (dependend on Samsung updates) and is missing the HDMI plug I'd really like to have in a tablet

 

I'm sure it's a great device as it got some glowing reviews from the tech sites I frequent, but I'd rather try the Nexus 10 if I go for a tablet in that price range, as it just seems to be a generation more advanced.

Yeah, I'm not saying its the pinnacle of specs that Nexus10 is, but the SPen and artistic tools it brings really hits that market very well.

No, this is about RT. Real Windows will come later and will be much more expensive.

The topic is about ARM tablets. W8 is not in the same category and added there for extra information, OP clearly states that. You claim the original post is about surface pro, it is not. I didn't notice it was added later, and assumed you were being off topic. I apologize for that.
