It seems to me (from looking at the sales chartz) that there is direct correlation between the demise of the Wii and the rise of Kinect. Is this just a coincidence, or did Kinect kill the Wii?
I think Kinect DID kill the Wii. The Wii's main selling point was its motion controls and once Kinect came out (which had superior motion controls imo) consumers stopped buying the Wii as the 360 became an overall more appealing console (casual, core and hardcore appeal). Genius move from M$
